Commercial Description:
"XP" is the abbreviation for Exceptional Pale Ale. This is our interpretation of a classic pale ale. Our "XP" (exceptional pale) has a golden color, and is very light bodied with a noticeable hop aroma and bittering element that just teases the hopheads but satisfies the newest of microbrewed ale drinkers. This beer is brewed with American Two Row, English wheat, Belgian, and Dextrin malts. Mix this with just the right amounts of Cascade and Centennial hops and you've got a winner!!

Pours almost completely golden with a little amber. The head is a nice size. Smells pretty weak with some hops, a little pine. Lots of wheat, a little malt, not very impressive. A little thin, refreshing but nothing to write home about. To be honest, this is a great step up for macro lovers.

Pours a translucent golden amber with an average bubbly/creamy off white head that left some lacing. Aroma of orange, pine, caramel and toasted malt. Flavor of toasted malt, cereal grains, mixed citrus, some pine and a touch of hop bitterness. Also picking up some caramel malt and a touch of nuts.

Pours deep gold into a Shaker. Fluffy off-white head leaves spot lacing as it slowly recedes. Pine and resin aromas. Crisp with upfront caramel and a lasting pine finish.

22 oz bottle. Pours golden with an orange hue with a four finger head that dissipates quickly leaving behind a large amount of lacing. Mild fruity and caramel malt aroma. Flavor is very similiar and nicely balanced. Citrus and floral notes can be detected. Light bodied. It is OK, but very plain for an APA.

LOTS OF SEDIMENT! Having said that, this is an excellent beer. Poured a gold to amber color in my half yard. Lots of head, white and foamy. Flavor is the cascade hop - it hits you with a piney resinous bitter flavor. This is almost like an IPA.

From bottle, no 27 at Papsoes blindtasting. Pours golden orange and with lacing white head. Slight floral to fruity aroma. Flavour is floral hoppy and a very subdued sweetness. Finish holds the same floral notes lingering into the finish. Solid to nice.5-3-6-3-12=2.9

ZBF2008@RB table: 22 fl oz bomber. Pours clear orange with a lacing white head. Dry pine aroma. Flavour is much the same, slight soapy and with rather dry caramel malt base. Dry hoppy finish.6-3-7-3-13=3.2
