Commercial Description:
"XP" is the abbreviation for Exceptional Pale Ale. This is our interpretation of a classic pale ale. Our "XP" (exceptional pale) has a golden color, and is very light bodied with a noticeable hop aroma and bittering element that just teases the hopheads but satisfies the newest of microbrewed ale drinkers. This beer is brewed with American Two Row, English wheat, Belgian, and Dextrin malts. Mix this with just the right amounts of Cascade and Centennial hops and you've got a winner!!

Pours golden amber orange with some carbonation. Thick tall soapy cream colored head. Nice crisp pale ale. Well-balanced not too much malt here. Slight bitter finish and a tad acidic and astringent. Decent though.

Transparent copper-orange pour with a tall, rocky white head. Faint floral aroma with small hints of sour malt, toffee, and lavender. Flavor is the basic, fairly dull interplay of wet grass hops and crisp pale malt. Chewy green tea leaves, straw, and a little musty yeast spice lend a quiet intrigue. A bit of sweet, gritty cornmeal and soap before the finish. Thoroughly clean at the end, leaving only a distant, dusty weed remnant. Medium-bodied with a certain sharpness. The English characteristics are bold and rounded, but the rest is quite messy and bland. Not so bad, but absolutely forgettable.

Crisp, clean golden color with nice foamy long-lasting head. Strange metal soap smell. Doughy and metallic aroma - doesn’t get any better as it warms. Very subtle bite to it. Nice hint of hoppy flavors. Nice on palate. Good amount of subtle bitterness for starters.

Bottle. Light amber pour supporting a pillowy white head that settles after a few sips. Clean fruity aroma with a mix of apples and hops. Crisp and restrianed hoppy flavor with hints of grapefruit throughout. Appropriately light (but not thin) texture and a nice crisp finish. Reminds me of a mildly fruity Liberty Ale.

Pours an orange gold with a medium tan head. Aroma of toast, pine, grass, and a slight hint of soap. Pleasantly toasty and bready taste, with some lemon and light pine, finishes with some more of that citrus-bordering-on-soap taste, followed by a nice light piney citrusy flavorful hop finish. Kinda toasty aftertaste. Light to medium mouthfeel, tingly carbonation. I like this and it’s easy going with plenty of nice elements, but it’s also not as "spot on" as Sierra Nevada and not nearly as wowing as Alpha King.

Nice pine/citrus hop nose, it pours a clear amber with a huge white head. Decent hop bitterness, moderate finish. Somewhat thinner body then I would like. Overall, a decent sessionable beer.

Bomber. Light copperish color beer with lasting white head. Smell is sweet hop mix. Sort of soapish. Taste is hoppy with just an extremely mild finishing sweetness. Kind of dry, a bit bland, acidic and boring. Very carbonated. Not a good pale, and a disappointment as their other beers have been great. HIGHLY overrated. Sierra Nevada is better, Red Seal is better, Lefthand Jackman’s pale, Kona’s pale, and on and on.
