The aroma has the scents of fresh tart oranges and pink grapefruit over sweet caramel. It’s a well balanced drink although slightly light on the flavor. Fresh bread and caramel are evenly matched by the light citric bitterness. This is decent, sessionable stuff. Capa (990), Yokosuka, Japan
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jul 4, 2007 Pours a nice orange with a large, off-white, puffy head. Citrus hops, caramel, pine, floral notes, and biscuit malts. I swish the aroma was a bit stronger. Watery body. Flavor is much like the aroma with less of the caramel and more noticeable biscuit malt. Finishes with some hops on the back of your tongue Crisp and refreshing, but lacking a bit of aroma and flavor strength. JCB (1781), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 3, 2007 Very crisp and refreshing APA. Popped this open after a nice long workout and it hit the spot. Not quite as citrusy as I might like - a bit of breadiness in the middle detracts a tad - but rock solid brew. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 13, 2007 Golden-amber color with a nice-size soapy head. Citrus hop aroma with hints of bready malts. Taste has a nice little hop bite with just enough citrus and floral hop, plus a nice malt backing. Solid APA. hopson (595), Williamsville, New York, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2007 Bottle: Pours a clear copper color with a white head, some floaties. Aroma, citrus, caramel, and some bready pale malts. Flavor, light pale malts up front, some bready notes, citrus, and herbal hops on the finish. Pretty solid. Lowe1983 (1029), Fairborn, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 30, 2007 Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is huge of citrus and pine hops up front with hints of caramel and sweet malts behind it. Pretty hoppy for an APA but no complaints on that one. Citrus and pine up front that gives way to the sweeter tones. Finishes slightly bitter with a lingering flavor. Not as thick on the palate as I was thinking but still a good pale ale. presario (2996), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
