Lovely to look at whith a thick fluffy head giving away to a beautiful burnished amber brown. Apples and hops in the nose. Extremely well balenced, which a pronounced baked good sweetness that gives way to a pronounced dry bitterness. Nice. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 28, 2006 A hazy amber beer with a sweet malt and decent hops flavor. A flat aroma of weak malt and nice hops. This is a good beer right on the edge of being alot better. JohnC (2288), Mission Viejo, California, USA

THis is a solid American Pale Ale. Dark gold color, some hoppiness, a good session brew. spkldhenlvr24 (466), Newburgh/Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 24, 2006 Pours a bubbly orange/light amber body with a huge rocky off-white head. Decent orange, grapefruit aroma. Mild hops. Dry light hoppy flavor. Some good spices. Reminded me a lot like an English Pale Ale. Weak finish, kinda boring. Suttree (2750), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 22, 2006 Nice golden/copper, with a huge white head. Clean, crisp aroma, with a bit of mettalic edge (in a good way)Maybe some sweetness in the aroma, too - toffee, maybe? Some vegetable notes at fisrt, and then enough hop bite - I’m gonna say citrus, mostly - to make it interesting. Then I added the word "drinkable" to the end of my notes, which is, in fact, not disputable. Pretty much any beer that is served in liquid form is drinkable. Sampled at Noogfest2. aracauna (2427), Georgia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 22, 2006 The Xp pours a clear gold body with a big head that is long lastinq. Very light flavor has some hay malt, but the hops seem pretty week. This is really more of a blonde ale than a pale ale. oldrtybastrd (1846), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 7, 2006 Pours a deep amber color. Aromas of mild malt and citrus hops. Big hop flavor is balanced with a smooth malt taste. Good dry hop finish and aftertaste. bigrond (1055), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 4, 2006 this was a mighty fine beer. Deep copper/red color, powerful aoroma with a nice head -althought it dosen’t last very long. Dry and slightly bitter in body - could be dryer. But it does finish crisp with a lingering nice flavor.
