Aug 7, 2005 Bottle. Hazed amber with a sticky, frothy tan head. Nice lacing and it reminds of the froth atop of a latte. Nose is flowery and citrusy hops. Mild maple notes and some sweet malts. Ripe fruit as well. Nice! Taste is nicely hopped and citrusy. Ripe tangerines, light grapefruit, maple, sweet malts, and fresh hops. Body is creamy and bitter. Medium feel with fine, dense microbubbles. Finishes citrusy and sweet, fruity and mapley with toned down hops. Not bad!

Aug 2, 2005 Nice golden pour from a 22 ouncer. Tastes of citrus and some dry grass. Slightly hoppy...and a nice balance of bitterness.

Jul 31, 2005 Bottle: Dull golden yellow with a bit of an orange hue to it, slightly cloudy, with a large & lasting thick white head. Aroma is lightly sweet, with some notes of mild grassy hops, toasted malt, sweet light malt, light fruits, and a hint of citrus. It’s not very hoppy, but there’s a hint of hops that provide a citrus/grapefruit & sweet fruit flavor, as well as a bit of bitterness throughout the flavor. There’s also a hint of honey, toasted grains, and earth. Light bodied, medium carbonation, excellent balance of bitterness in the mouth.

Jul 31, 2005 Gold and a little hazy out of the bottle, pours with a thick, foamy head that thins slowly but stays until the end. Smells of light hops, a little bit of grass. Tastes light and full, a hint of honey. Pretty good beer.

Jul 31, 2005 Bottle: Dull golden, slight haze, some sediment, huge rocky white head, superb lacing, moderate carbonation. Somewhat farmhouse saison like, sweet, a bit candyish, certainly not terribly hoppy, slight toasted malt, with accents of butter (not Diacytl). This is an odd one. Seems not as thick in body and mouthfeel as I would have hoped. Somewhat floral finish, very slight astringency. Decent, but bizarre.

Jul 15, 2005 22 oz. Bomber. Pours hazy dark amber with a large, fluffy, off-white head that lingers nicely. Aroma is sweet, lightly fruity malts and a nice presence, with scents of citrus, pineapple and fresh hay. Flavor seems a little harsh compared to the light, refreshing nose. There’s a bold hoppy blast of biting bitterness, with toasty malts, more hay, earthy notes and brash citrus hops in the finish as well. Light body and prickly carbonation. Not bad.
