Commercial Description:
"XP" is the abbreviation for Exceptional Pale Ale. This is our interpretation of a classic pale ale. Our "XP" (exceptional pale) has a golden color, and is very light bodied with a noticeable hop aroma and bittering element that just teases the hopheads but satisfies the newest of microbrewed ale drinkers. This beer is brewed with American Two Row, English wheat, Belgian, and Dextrin malts. Mix this with just the right amounts of Cascade and Centennial hops and you've got a winner!!

A dark goldem apperance with a large white head. A big lemon and orange aroma. The flavor is quite sour and herbal with some lemon and orange flavors. A slightly bitter aftertaste is present. Good session beer.

Pours a yellow gold, slightly off white medium head. Decent lacing and a slight linger. Sweet malt aroma with a slightly spicy hop afternote. Rather floral nose, melds quickly with malt flavors to become slightly sticky. Finish is a tapering sweetness with a slightly astringent hop presence taking over. Medium light body, somewhat sticky.

Amber hued with a fairly large head and decent lacing. Nose was spicy and more floral than citrusy/fruity. Slight metallic taste on the tip of the tongue with the hoppiness kicking in soon after. Well carbonated, medium bodied with a pleasantly bitter flavor. Clean, dry finish.

Hazy amber color, off white head. Fuller oaroma of zesty hops, sweetish malts. Nice balanced flavor, fruity malts, tangy hops. Medium bodied, bitter finish. Tasty.

Pours clear dark golden with a totally retained off white head. Extra appearance point for the fantastic lacing on the glass. Really nice hoppy, floral aroma; lots of Cascades, probably dry hopped. Flavor is an interesting take on restraint. Nicely bitter hoppy but with a very enjoyable sweet malt, biscuity balance. This is fantastic session beer.

Bottle. Hop/bitter up front-very nice. Nose is overall good and very hoppy. There is not much of a malt backbone. this is good, but it needs a bit more malt body. The lack of malt translates as thinness.

Pour is straw color with a thin almost nonexistent head...smell is pine, citrus (grapefruit)...thin bodied, definately more hoppy in the nose than in the mouth...more malty than hoppy...
