Commercial Description:
"XP" is the abbreviation for Exceptional Pale Ale. This is our interpretation of a classic pale ale. Our "XP" (exceptional pale) has a golden color, and is very light bodied with a noticeable hop aroma and bittering element that just teases the hopheads but satisfies the newest of microbrewed ale drinkers. This beer is brewed with American Two Row, English wheat, Belgian, and Dextrin malts. Mix this with just the right amounts of Cascade and Centennial hops and you've got a winner!!

Bounds of hops in the aroma, but a flat hop flavor without an interesting edge make this a less-than-enthralling pale ale experience. The body might be described as watery, even, and there isn’t much bitterness (I found it surprising that I didn’t like that quality because often I react negatively to bitterness in the wrong form). Orange with a white-ish head. Disappointing.

Hazy golden color with a medium off-white head. Mild honey and corn aroma. Nice light orange and lemon citrus flavors, with some honey and bread. Fairly crisp feel. Not a bad pale ale.

Hazy copper color with a medium, long-lasting off-white head. The aroma was very appetizing...sweet bready tones dominated by lemons, grapefruit, and tangy oranges. The flavor was quite piney...citrusy hops character...bready aftertaste. The feel was crisp on the tongue, a little watery, semi-dry finish.

Good stuff from a good brewery. Pours out hazy amber with a moderate white head. The aroma is lemon zest, some pine, doughy. Medium to light bodied, gentle carbonation. Flavor was clean and crisp hops and malt blended well. Very refreshing and tasty.

Somewhat thin and unimpressive beer. Clean with no defects. Very thin mouthfeel with very light pale malt. Some bitterness on palate low IBU very little resin or oil present. Hints of citrus and pin in the nose. Clean and almost noexistent finish.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a light orange with thick fluffy off-white head that leaves some thick chunky lace. Lots of effervescence. Aroma is of oranges, grapefruit and hops. Taste is pretty well-balanced. Starts with the typical sweet malts and finishes with the typical hoppy bitterness. Dryish finish. Nothing extraordinary taste-wise. On the thin side. Plenty of bite from the high carbonation.
