Commercial Description:
"XP" is the abbreviation for Exceptional Pale Ale. This is our interpretation of a classic pale ale. Our "XP" (exceptional pale) has a golden color, and is very light bodied with a noticeable hop aroma and bittering element that just teases the hopheads but satisfies the newest of microbrewed ale drinkers. This beer is brewed with American Two Row, English wheat, Belgian, and Dextrin malts. Mix this with just the right amounts of Cascade and Centennial hops and you've got a winner!!

Pours amber with big white frothy head. Lots and lots of lace. Aroma is sweet malt backbone with hops to balance. Flavor is nice and well rounded. Medium/full bodied with light bitterness.

Pours copper with medium white head. Aroma of malt, hops, slight fruit and spice. Tastes moderately hoppy, with some malt, fruit, and slight spice. Not as rich or firm or complex as I like with pales and IPAs. A very good beer, but not an upper echelon beer. Medium to slightly light palate.

(bottle) golden orange with large white head. Citrus/tangerine aroma. Well balanced hops and malt--not a hop monster. Body is a tad thin.

A decent amount of lacing and some red tinting to the gold body. The aroma is fairly light with some apples and a touch of tangerines. The taste is earthy and malty. Very well balanced. The hops is nice and earthy. Almost a mushroom quality. I liek this one, even though it is not over the top hoppy.

Bottle poured a cloudy light amber with an awsome huge thick head that lasted the entire beer!! A light fruity aroma with a flavor of hopps and fruit. This is a very good beer and I liked it a lot!! and will but it again!

Poured a deep orange with a nice pillow of a white head. The aroma was of intentional floral hopping. Flavor-wise is where the confusion hit. There is a roastiness that could only mean the wrong choice of mts for the style. The flavor was solid and complete, but wood shouldn’t rule an APA. Finish is dry and average in duration. A slight disappointment in that it just isn’t refreshing.

Rather nice soft golden color, and a good sized head on top. Aroma is quite fruity, orange, lemon and tangerine are all over the place. Yes, there is the smell of good ol’ hops in this, but man, smells like fruit punch IPA almost. Flavor is rather relaxed, but has a fine quality of drinkablity, hops character, malty body, and that goddamn fruityness again (which I like, but it’s still odd)
