Light, on the watery side, dry. I’m unlikely to drink this ever again. I mark up the aroma slightly because it was bizarre enough to make the first couple of whiffs interesting. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 31, 2006 Pint pulled at JDW The Railway in Putney (London), a very clear golden straw with a thin white head. The aroma was malty with some hint of citrus hops. A good tangy mouthfeel, though the finish is quitye lagerish. The flavouring has bitter and sour hops with juicy malts. Difficult to make my mind up about this ale, on reflection nothing special.
