Nov 30, 2009 Cask at Leyton Orient Supporters Club on 20th November 2009, during the Piglet festival. Gold with a lasting white head. Fresh, cleansing hoppiness predominates with a rich and intense hempy hop finish.

Nov 15, 2009 Cask conditioned at The Queens Head, Birmingham. Orange amber with white head. Malty, sweetish beer with a plastic / rubber type note, which i can see has been found before. Some fruitiness late on. Average.

Hazy blond color. The aroma is light, citrusy, grassy. It has a fresh mouthfeel, light malt flavor, freshly cut grass, lemon peel; correct bitterness. Very refreshing.

Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, burnt rubber. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. (310708)

Jun 27, 2007 [Cask from The Three Judges] Talcumed Swim Caps and bicycle tyre repair kit, background notes of the syrup from tinned peaches. Light, on the watery side, dry. I’m unlikely to drink this ever again. I mark up the aroma slightly because it was bizarre enough to make the first couple of whiffs interesting.

Feb 25, 2007 The only reason this gets any points was that it is from the judges and i feel bad otherwise. Aroma is sulphur and burnt rubber. Taste is sulphur with pale malts and banana skin or a very unripe green banana. Worst ale this year possibly ever.

May 11, 2006 Cask, Leicester Fest 06. Bright gold with a bubbly head. Aromas are soft lemon and spices with butter, caramel and some vinegar. Floral hops. Flavours are soft, buttery and floral with mellow lemon. Some caramel. Typical of the style. Decent but dull.

Mar 31, 2006 Pint pulled at JDW The Railway in Putney (London), a very clear golden straw with a thin white head. The aroma was malty with some hint of citrus hops. A good tangy mouthfeel, though the finish is quitye lagerish. The flavouring has bitter and sour hops with juicy malts. Difficult to make my mind up about this ale, on reflection nothing special.
