Cask @ Swettenham Arms, Swettenham, Cheshire. Pint was a very light coloured beer, almost lager coloured, but with a thick creamy head. Aroma, was of toffee popcorn with hint of malt. Flavour again was toffee popcorn, with a slight hoppy kick to the end of it. It was so good I had 3 pints of it! This has now taken over Robinsons Unicorn as my favourite cask ale.

Ah brewed just up the road from me in Mongleton. Light golden colour. This was my last beer at Macclesfield Beer Festival so I would have enjoyed anything then but I did like this.

Cask-conditioned at the Beaufort, Stoke Gifford S Gloucs 23/4/08. Pale gold with a slight white head. Aroma of floral hops with some malt sweetness. Flavour had some doughy malt, citrus and a decent dry finish. Good.

Cask in the tennents bar. Aroma is pale malt, biscuity and caramel notes. Taste is similar, quite bitter som orange fruit character. Alround kind of passed me by and i didnt finish the half before moving on.
