Commercial Description:
Cask: Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
A rich creamy smooth dark oatmeal stout that we think would give the dark Irish stouts something to think about.
Ingredients: Maris Otter pale malt, crystal malt, chocolate malt, wheat malt, oat malt. Challenger and Northdown hops.

Cask at ealing beer fest. Aroma is pritty roasty, but generally thin and grassy hop. Taste is similar, its fairly inoffensive and drinable, but could do with some choc malt.

gravicask @ ealing bf 08. Nose of sour barley and hay. Darkest chestnut colour, big bubbled rim. fruity coffe flavours with strong barley notes and a tad of coffee. not bad, if a bit watery.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Ealing Beer Festival.
Almost black with a very thin beige head. Fruity and astringent aroma with some slight roasty coffee. More coffee and roasted malt in the flavour with plenty of fruit and peaty notes. A straight forward stout that is nothing too special.

Cask in The Wellington, Birmingham. Black with no head. Sweet caramel scent. Watery with some fizz. Taste of watered-down coffee.

Cask at the Farnham Beer Festival 2007. A very dark Black beer with a light brown/white head. The aroma is very strong coffee flavour, with a dry finish. I have had better.
