Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Copper amber with white head. Quite a sweetish malty beer with a smoky treacle, toffee background. Thinnish and light on the palate there little on the finish, but as a quaffing ale it is fine.

Cask (gravity dispense), Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. Mid copper colour. Fair ration of robust, earthy hops. Decent balance. Didn’t make a huge impression, but decently done.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 06. Copper/amber with thin bubbly beige head. Hey, nice hop on this. Good bitter. Bit of tea and tobacco, but the hop is excellent.
