A Mes rate: 50cl bottle at Quinns while watching Man U win the title.Rich amber with a chunky and lasting white head. Full on soy and overly sweet German malt. Just was too sweet. Slight bitterness, lots of alcohol. Pretty poor but... RYAN GIGGS I LOVE YOU!!!

Jul 8, 2008 Sampled at the RBESG08 grand tasting. Hazy amber with medium tan head. Sugary and caramelly, and slightly fudgy. soft mouthfeel. Sweet and cloying.

Jul 5, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours a deep golden with floating impurities and a creamy, off-white head. Lovely floral hoppy nose. Quite full-bodied with lots of sweet malts but no bitterness. 290608

May 22, 2008 Bügelverschlußflasche (purchased at the brewery): Deep, deep golden coloured, smaller, but persistent off-white foamy layer, a bit unclear; a soloud mix of Tettnang (?) hops and sweet malt in the nose; quite sweet, slightly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; spicy, sweet and herbal hoppy finish with a tinge of warming brandy in the aftertaste. Quite decent, but not so well rounded........

Apr 22, 2008 Lightamber coloured beerwith a big dense offwhite head. Metallic hops and malts in the nose. Sweet malty taste, very soft, nice texture. Good hopbitterness. Very drinkable bockbeer.
