Pours a hazy amber with a medium off white head. Wonderful toffee and caramel aroma. The flavoir has a surprisingly large hop bitterness that emerges from a fairly good malt bill. This is very tasty, but not the best Franconian that I had here.

Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is bread and sweet, caramel, touch of sweetness. A medium bodied bock. The malts are caramel and slightly sweet, touch of orange and orange peel. Hops are herbal and earthy. Some spices? Lively carbonation. Not as sweet as one would expect, but a lot more orange and orange peel than usual. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. borisz (190), Netherlands
