| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 24, 2009 Copper pour, medium head and lace. Skunky sweet aroma. Nice fizz and a pleasant green bottle skunk. Overly sweet phlegmy caramel comes in at the end and lingers after swallowing. A hint of maple and brown sugar. Fair.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 24, 2009 Clear, reddish-amber color, small white head. Aroma of soggy grains with some citrusy hops. Basic malt flavors - nothing to write home about. Thin, light bodied with a long, bitter finish. Dacrza (253), Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 14, 2009 Situation: Spackle and paint after PSU’s fourth victory--time to celebrate!
Glassware: Ayinger becker...
Appearance: hearty orange-brown body with a thick, nearly three-finger head that streaks evenly down the glass--a strong showing for a macro...
Aroma: sharp ping of Saaz and maybe Munich malts--but with the characteristic Beck’s nostril hook that both pleases and seizes; a few odd hints of dough...
Palate: easy drinking with malty softness working for it; biscuit malts may be the doughy culprit...
Taste: medium bodied with as much effervescence at the throat as absence of hop character at the teeth; not really a developed profile, but a pleasant picture to drink in...
Overall: As with all Beck’s, this beer is a pleasure to pound for a price that is just slightly beyond the other lesser macros; works as a fall fallback if nothing more solicitous can be secured...

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 13, 2009 I found this Oktoberfest above average. From the bottle. Nice amber pour with a medium head. Pleasant aroma of lightly sweet malts and just a hint of hops. Mild flavor and not too complex, but very drinkable. Some nice caramel notes over a malty backbone. Finish is smooth with a sublte malt aftertaste. Not bad for a macro. Collint (458), Sylva, North Carolina, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Nov 2, 2009 Mild to medium aroma of yeast/bread dough and orange rind. Red-orange in color and clear with nice lacing. Matly sweetness on the palante, nicely balanced with medium bitter and sour notes and a long finish. Medium-bodied with a nice texture balance between creamy and lively carbonation. Overall, a nice easy-drinking autumn beer. Not my first choice, but far from my last.
