KeithD (181), Outer Space, Congo Feb 5, 2008 Updated: Jun 3, 2008 Probably my favorite everyday beer. A vivid German lager that never fails to be crisp and refreshing with a light fresh hoppiness and just a bit of clean dryness on the finish. This is a very drinkable beer that demands high-volume consumption from a Masskrug on a hot summer day. The label is stylin’, too.
HenrikSoegaard (2897), Randers, Denmark Jul 17, 2008 Can. Creamy white good mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Light mlaty and hoppy aroma. Slightly grassy. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Soft carbonated nice watery palate. OK beer, but a little dull. Sparky27 (414), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jul 11, 2008 Pint can. Pours a light gold with 2 finger fluffy snow white head that fades quickly but leaves some spotty lacing. Nose is sweet grainy malts and light hops. Taste is more sweet grain, a touch of yeast, light hops and a dry, slight lemon-like citrus finish. Medium mouth feel. Not that bad - refreshing and drinkable on a hot day.. Much better in a can than that skunky green bottle. janir (131), Oulu, Finland Jul 10, 2008 Very clear and pure golden color. Medium head is big bubbly and it quickly disappearing. Malty nad hoppy aroma got also some toffyness in it. Flavor is a bit dry, malty and refreshingly hoppy. Light-bodied and bitterly carbonated palate. unclemattie (1518), Georgia, USA Jul 9, 2008 Beck’s, Beck’s Premier Light, and Beck’s N/A Horizontal rating. 12oz green bottle. DATE 11.2008. Pours golden, smallest white head of the three. Aroma of bread and heavy skunk. SKUNK. Mouthfeel of bready malt. Hoppy bitterness. Finishes with skunk flavor.
