6th August 2008. On tap at GBBF. Very smooth mild fruit and very mild toasty malt. Slightly sour. A particularly mild mild! Agreeable.

Cask at GBBF 2009. Won the mild category the year before, so very interested in having it. And it was really good, great condition which helps a mild, lovely mild choc. Creamy. Stunning in fact. Mild as well on the finish. Someting that lived up to the hype.

Cask at GBBF ’09, dark brown with a yellowish head. A soft caramal aroma. A light mouthfeel and a little oversweet.

Cask at GBBF 05-08-09 Cheers to Caspar for sharing this one. Pours black, aroma is fruity and a touch woody. Tangy, fruity, malty brew with a touch of the herbal sweet and liqourice about it. A6 A3 F7 P4 Ov13 3.3

Brown with a small off-white head. Fruity aroma with apple and a hint of roasted malt. Thin and watery, quite sweet malt flavour with a roasted note.

Draught. Tutored tasting with Roger Protz at GBBF 08. Won gold in the mild category at the festival. Shining, dark rosewood – very nice, indeed. Dark fruity smell. Dark caramel malts in flavour with sugar sweetness to it and a note of coffee. Mildly bittersweet ending. Satisfying, but rather diluted in the mouth (06.08.2008).
