Commercial Description:

Bottled at 3 små rum, Gothenburg. Thx gnoff&ekstedt Balck. Vinous aroma with chocolate, coffee and licorice. Too much alcohol and an unbalanced flavour.

Bottle from madmitch76 and his store and cellar in the U.K. Pours jet black with some reddish hue, virtually no head no lace. Aroma of a rich chocolate and spices, maybe coffee. An imperial porter more than a baltic porter. A tad above average mouthfeel. Declicious to the last drop,a very rich porter with chocolate, good coffee, and taste a bit aged. no sign of 16%.

Bottle at RBESG 09 Sheffield. Strong porter, black as night. Thin tan head. Intense hot aroma. Smoother in mouth. xxxx me intense, really just incredible. But way too much tar and booziness.

Sampled at DØE Beerfestival 2009, Valby. Pours a black beer with no head. The aroma is licorice, chocolate and coffee. The flavor follows the nose. The palate leaves a bold body, and overall a good bold beer.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Cloudy dark brown, minimal head. Meaty soy sauce aroma. Takes full bodied to the extreme. Very sweet withlots of caramel. Thick with lots of power and even more molasses. Syrupy finish. Too thick and raw. Needs a century or so to mature.

Bottled@The Bishop’s Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm. Quite much pitch black colour, no head. Aroma is wood, liquorice, alcohol, burnt sugar and some spices. Also dark chocolate and some espresso coffee. Flavour is wood, sweet liquorices, ashes, burnt wet wood and some slight notes of dark fruits. Big liquorice, herbs and ashes in the finish. Very wellbalanced and hides the alcohol really well.
