Fresh, dewy, citric nose with notes of metal. Light bodied with iron and blood. Light and fresh from hops and not really any malt character. Well hopped in flavour with big fruity character, yet with a light bitterness. finol (528), Nacka (Stockholm), Sweden

Nice hoppy taste and aroma, however my bottle is getting old despite 6months til the bb date is due. So beware when you buy it! NosirIwont (1186), Aalborg Vestby, Denmark
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 21, 2009 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale golden amber with a big off-white head. Messy lacing. Sweet grapefruit hop aroma. Quite nice, but feels a bit one-dimensional. Flavour is sweetish grapefruit hops as well. Bitter finish. A bit watery. I really liked the grapefruit hops, but could have done with a bit more body/bite/oomph. 22-11-09. ricke (248), Malme, Sweden
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 17, 2009 A: Hazy golden amber color with a medium sized off-white head.
Lots of grapefruit, lemon-peel, hop resins and pine-needles in the nose. The hop character is rather big considering that this one is just an APA, not an IPA. Some caramel malts beneath the hops.
The taste is also very hop forward with dominating flavors of grapefruit, hop resins and pine-needles. Perhaps a note of tobacco. A decent malty backbone with plenty of caramel delivers some sweetness. The finish is quite bitter with notes of hop resins and grass. The finish lacks a little strength and richness, but other than that, the taste is quite good.
Medium body with a rather crisp texture. It almost gets a little try in the finish.
A good beer with a very impressive hop character considering the style. Wouldn’t turn it down if I was offered another.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 13, 2009 Bottled. Tall head. Pear, white pepper, wild strawberry and earthy hops in the nose- very interesting and deeply inviting. Good bitterness. Beautiful lace. Dry finish. Strangely reminiscent of Young’s special London ale. Remarkably good. Bov (5514), Bienne, Switzerland

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 1, 2009 It poured a hazy golden liquid with a small white foam that left just a little lacing. It had a smell and taste of grassy hops, honey, fruits and flowers. Very nice I enjoyed it. Fin (3481), Merton, Oxfordshire, England

Interesting aroma, whilst initially hoppy and clean there is a slight smell of sick in the background. Nice curly fresh hops, oily hops, nice stuff. A7 A4 F8 P4 Ov14 3.7
