raymondwave (797), Finland May 27, 2008 Draught at St. Urho’s. Hazy, deep brown with a creamy beautiful beige head. Smoky, tarry and fruity nose with a bit of junipery spiciness. Flavor is very tarry with dark fruits, juniper, smoke. Not too sweet nor alcoholic. Amazingly nice flavor with smooth and fizzy carb. Oily mouthfeel. Very different to what I’ve had sahti before, but I can honestly say I’ve rarely enjoyed beer this much! oh6gdx (6334), Vaasa, Finland May 25, 2008 Draught. Murky brown colour, with big creamy beigeish head. Aroma is mildly smoky along with bananas and some spices. Also quite sugary. Flavour is bananas gone black as well as some bready malts, spices and some mildly smoked notes. Refreshing and pleasan sahti. mirjukka (436), LOHJA, Finland May 24, 2008 Draught St Urho’s, Helsinki, Sahti Days 2008

color:nut brown nice airy head quickly off. Scent:hard to find
Taste: bit sweet ,banana , dark malts. Traditional taste. austone (447), Turku; Pori, Finland May 24, 2008 Draught at brewpub. Dark murky brown with huge thick head. Nose is spicy, syrupy bananas with balanced smokiness. Flavor has ripe, almost rotten bananas, very thick maltiness, some spices and strange smoked banana finish. Not overly sweet. Very full bodied and strongly carbonated palate for a sahti. FatPhil (2362), Espoo, Finland May 22, 2008 Draught (St Urho’s, Helsinki, Sahti Days 2008)
Turbid caramelly brown, small tight yellowy-brown head. Smoky aroma at first, some slight sourness too. Quite fizzy palate - needs a good swirl to soften it, and then it’s very smooth. Quite sweet, and a good mix of the usual sahti tastes, with a pleasant smokiness. Not as good as the very best sahtis, but still a really solid brew!
