bitbucket (1572), Kirkland, Washington, USA Apr 27, 2008 Bottle. Thanks, after4ever! Pours pale gold with a thin white head. Corn and cardboard in the aroma and taste. This hasn’t been a good day for pale lagers.

unclemattie (1662), Georgia, USA Oct 11, 2008 330ml bottle. Pours clear and straw yellow. Thin white head. Aroma of rice and barley. Noble hop aroma. Tastes of stale grains. Nice European hop flavors, grassy and herbal. Overall, I’m afraid that the 6 months+ it took to travel to the East Coast US has caused a small bit of oxidation. Fun to rate, better that the other Asia disasters I’ve rated. ATLBeerDog (233), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 11, 2008 From a twelve ounce bottle - Pours a clear pale yellow. Below average carbonation, and lacing. Smells of mild malts and mild hops…maybe some rice? First sip is surprisingly lighter than expected , some mild bitterness. Weak malt backbone. On a whole not very good. jjpm74 (3160), Stratford, CT 06614, Connecticut, USA Jul 22, 2008 Pours gold with a white head. Smells earthy and peppery with splashes of slight fruit. Tastes of light malt and some peppery hints. Some hints of bitterness on the finish. redlem (1111), Illinois, USA Jul 11, 2008 All I can think is that the "spring water from the Himalayas" would taste better than this. Still a good beer to have with most of the spicy Laos food.
