This was a birthday gift from my buddy Pat, who purchased it at Lone Hill Liquor in Glendora, CA. Very good fresh hop aroma. Very different for an imperial stout. I really really liked this one. Awesome stuff. I want to go buy some more. j12601 (1308), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA

Very hoppy aroma- piny, grapefruit notes mesh with smooth black malt and dark chocolate- nice. Creamy body- very hoppy flavor- citric NW hops, citrus notes underneath a dry cocoa and resiny hempy character. The finish combines dry cocoa roast and piny herbaceous bitterness. More like a well balanced black IPA. Quite tasty- a very drinkable Imperial Stout. WinoInTraining (107), Longmont, Colorado, USA

Aroma of fresh piny hops with some underlying sweet roasty dark caramel and chocolate malts. Body starts with pretty good fullness and sticky dark caramel malts and resiny green piny hops. Finishes drier and bittersweet with a good hop character throughout. A nice imperial stout. Ibrew2or3 (2766), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA

Pours deep darkness with nice mocha head. The aroma is black strap molasses, licorice, mild malts, a sense of alcohol and soft vague hoppiness. The taste starts with pine hop and grassy hop bitterness, a bit of resiny bitterness and followed by molasses. By midway these notes sort of flow into chocolate slowly turning into roasty malts. The finish has some pine hop bitterness and some modest roasty malt astringency hanging on into the after taste.
