On tap at AZ strong beer festival. Pours a deep black with a tan head. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, malt. Taste of coffee, chocolate, malt, caramel and a little dirt...yes dirt. Pretty goof Imperial stout, but not worth the price if you buy it in the 22oz bombers.

Tried this at the AZ Strong Beer Festival...saved myself 8 fidy by not buyin’ a bottle at the store!!! LOVE Imperial IPA’s, LOVE Imperial Stouts...HATED this. Pick your poison. Are you looking for dark fruit, chocolate, and coffee or citrus, pine and toffee??? Please, for all that’s sacred, don’t try to do both!!! The skull and crossbones on the label say it all.

wow tons of citrus and chocolate aromas, hints of pine resin with molasses. Pours cloudy black with a thin tan head. Whoa i got chills after the first sip, hoppy upfront, with citrus and roasted coffee, then some sweet malts, and piney with chocolate, very intense, thats like an IIPA and an Imp Stout poured half and half. Very intense flavors, really solid traits from both styles. Great beer, all beer drinkers should try it!

Arrrr. Dark black pour (of course) with a big, foamy head. Very dark, almost burned coffee malt flavor with a bittersweet chocolate note. Dry hoppy finish. Nice.

Pours a dark black with thick dark tan head. Lots of sweet and bitter chocolate, smoke, roasted malt, raisin, plum, caramel, and finishes with some hoppy bitterness. Tasty imperial stout.

Foam Rangers January meeting. Dark as ever with little head. Very nice nose of chocolate, hops, and roasted malts. Flavor is a sweet malt roast that lends itself well to a good hop touch. Nice bitter chocolate finsih.

Pours black as night with a small head. This was interesting for an impy, it had a roasted nose with a hop presence The hops showed up in th eflavor as well. Not over done , just the right balance.Kind of reminded me of a hybrid of an Impy stout with an IPA.Finished of slightly bitter.Thanx to Hellbilly for this.
