Darker amber color, moderate head, decent lacing and retention. Aroma is chewy caramel, fairly fruity, some pine. Medium to full body, quite sweet. Decent but not a favorite by any means.

22oz bottle from BevMo Mission Valley. Pours a hazed, burnt orange color with a minimal off white head. A good hop nose with a sweet and malty backbone.

Bottle 66cl. @ Amerikaner blindsmagning @ Papsoe, Bottle #24.]
Unclear medium orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, fruity, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine needles, orange. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (190608)

Bottle. Slightly hazy amber with a thin even layer of light tan head. Spicy malts and peppery hops on the aroma, mild dark fruits. A bit of heat to start, grassy hop taste border on astringent, and kind of clashed with the alcohol. Kind of mixed up.

Bomber poured into pint glass. This beer had a strong metal or aluminum flavor. The malt was nice but the metal after taste was a bit over the top for me.

22oz. bottle. Light brown, orange color with a thin film of white head. Alefruit, higher alcohol, medicinal hop aromatics. Ruddy caramel and figgy alefruit flavors dominate. Pinesol and aspirin hop notes a strident counterpoint. High alcohol presence later manifests. Caramel, raisin, sharp hop bitterness in the finish with residual heat. Mouthfeel is heavy, somewhat hot.

Poured a cloudy amber with a fizzy off-white head. There is a faint aroma of some light caramel and some delicate notes of light fruit. Flavor is sharply bitter, metallic, some pine hops and light fruit. Overly harsh, alcoholic, and metallic, with not a whole lot of discernible flavor. Overall a lackluster disappointing barley wine.
