| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 5, 2009 Bottle from BevMo: Creates a thick cloud formation of heading and a violent abruption of carbonation in off colored orange ale. Aroma is mild with a floral scent of green harvested hops but overall decent and subdued compared to other hop imperial ales that boast the content of their hops. The flavor is organic and has a chewy yet pure taste of bittering hops, pollen from flowers and light sweet honey background. Malts are bready and similar to grains blended with oats. I don’t know if I would preach about this beer but if I saw it on draft somewhere I would definitely give it another try. tjthresh (1782), Greenfield, Indiana, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 3, 2009 22 ounce bottle from ditmier. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a fine bubbled dense off white head. The nose in this does come off very clean and fresh. It comes off more pine than anything, but there is a certainly leafy quality as well. The flavor is kind of grapefruit-ish, but a lot of the tang is missing. A bit of malt sweetness help carry everything through. Medium body with a bit of oil, and a dry finish. Really nice beer. Thanks Eric. BMan1113VR (2958), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 16, 2009 Picture sent in to be uploaded. Pours with a large, creamy off-white head that stays for a while. Cloudy orange body. Sheets of lace, no rings per sip, just a continuous curtain from the level of the first pour. Aroma is of dank and juicy hops, caramel and a bit of doughy bread. Taste is very bitter with a slight hint of alcohol, a bit of exotic fruit as well. Long duration, with a clean aftertaste and no real lingering bitterness. A touch of caramel too. Somewhat syrupy mouthfeel and warming. Moderate levels of carbonation. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 28, 2008 Bottle: Hazy copper, nice sticky white head and lots of lacing. Nose of dusty hop resin, pine and orange with husk and lots of malt sweetness. Very orangey. The flavor is chewy, dry and sticky. Tons of dry hops and dusty vegetal notes. A ton of hops here, large body too. Sticky but good overall. Lupulinarific. A touch unbalanced but wow. Dickinsonbeer (3517), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA

Pours an ok light hazy orangy amber with a nice foamy lasting head- some spotty lace. Aroma is earthy with some green grassy hints, along with a nice cascadey citrus and light pine note but fairly intense with the hops- just not a great mixture of hops. More citrus in the aroma blending with some earth and dirt, ok caramel malt backbone- some slight cattiness in the hops towards the middle and a good raw tacky hop resinous finish which I liked but the malt fell short in the end and turned to a dry crackery malt finish. If I saw this bottle on the shelf, I never would have caught this was the Hop Harvest Edition. It was samped in green on the side of the label - and the label was colored green! Poured a medium and hazy amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of floral hops, lightly spicy, pine, and just hoppy. Tastes of floral wet hops, light caramel, pine, and citrus. Yep, this one was hoppy. Alcohol content well hidden
