Bottle from IrishBoy. Thanks! Pours a thick cheddar yellow with an aroma of sharp, biting grapefruit soaked pine tar. Flavor is subdued grapefruit and pine resin. Nice mouthfeel. Not the best IPA, but certainly worth a revisit.

I’ve been wanting to try this one forever. Thanks goes to thecheeseman for a try! Gushing bottle, Lost about 2/3 of it. Damn. Cloudy orange pour with a small soapy white head. Aroma is heavy on the hops, citrus, pine, grass. Flavor grapefruit, pine, toffee, orange peel. It also has a goofy malt sweetness I usually get with extract home brews. Not bad, just weird. Finishes very bitter, lots of pine.

I love this beer, I think it’s everything a good IPA should be....not a great IPA, but still worth every sip.

Cloudy golden orange pour with a monster foamy head that lasts throughout and sticks to everything. lots of grapefruit peel and pine in the aroma, along with a nice maltiness and a touch of alcohol. Flavor is good, very hoppy with just a hint of the malt trying to balance it out. Average mouthfeel, with a short slightly bitter finish. Pretty good, but falling short of great.

Bottled. Explosive carbonation. Poured a cloudy orange with a huge off-white head. Sticky, bubbly lacing. ’Normal’ IIPA aroma of hops and a touch of alcohol. Very balanced flavour between hops and and malt. Just a bit of alcohol heat in the finish. Overall not bad at all but maybe a little unbalanced or a touch thin. Still easily drinkable.

8-13-08 bottle shared with lb4lb thanks to ditmier
Medium yellow amber with super amazing fluffy blanket cotton heavy head that lasts and lasts. Smell is hoppy and floral. Nice thick flavor of sweet hops. Subtly present creamy alcohol that is just a hint too sweet and not quite crisp or hoppy bitter enough.

Bomber via MrBendo. Pours a hazy yellowish orange color, very cloudy, with a huge foamy white head that lasts forever and leaves noteworthy lacing down the entire glass. Towards the end of the bottle I get a HUGE amount of sediment. The liquid turns peanut butter brown and it seems like I am pouring straight yeast. This bottle does not have a bottling date and just from the aroma I’d say this is several months old. The aroma is nice but the intensity is dialed down. Some peach and faint mango hop aromas are buried within a vanilla maltiness. Pleasant aroma. Taste is bitter, malty and well balanced. Full-bodied yet still has a somewhat dry finish. The palate is interesting as I feel this beer and taste it throughout my whole mouth. Difficult experience to explain. This beer seems like a quality IPA but I’ve have to have a super fresh sample to confirm that. For now I will just say that this has potential.

Bomber poured hazy orange. Aroma is a nice fresh hop orange wiith a little bit of pine. Flavor is smooth, not very malty with a bitter finish. A very enjoyable double IPA. I will be getting more of this.
