22 ounce bottle purchased at the Davis Food Co-Op. $10...ouch. Aroma has an herbal hoppiness with some musty notes and some slight cardboard-like oxidized notes. I can’t imagine this is oxidized, seeing the bottle was very full. The bottle caps were kind of weird, though. Very weird aroma. Hazy dark honey colored body with a smallish white head. scant lacing present. Starts herbal and a bit medicinal. Not sure what kind of hops they used, but these are not your typical hops. Decent malt backbone present, but there is a weird aspirin-like hoppiness present in the end as well as some light sweetness. A bit warming. Not overly hoppy for an IIPA. Just seems subdued and muted. Not digging their hop profile on this beer.

Bomber poured hazy orange. Aroma is a nice fresh hop orange wiith a little bit of pine. Flavor is smooth, not very malty with a bitter finish. A very enjoyable double IPA. I will be getting more of this.

Bomber thanks to kegbear. Pours hazy orange with thick and creamy white head. Aroma is big with orange and grapefruit citrus and resiny piney hops with caramel malts. Flavor is sweet and syrupy with dose of PNW hops, grapefruits and orange citrus with piney notes. Mouthfeel is thick for a IIPA. Beer looks and smells good but is to sweet and syrupy.

22oz bottle, no date purchased from Bottle Barn. Clear orange with a creamy 1 1/2 finger off-white head that lasted the duration. Thick lace covers the entirety of the back of my glass. Orange grapefruity citrus and resiny pine up front with plenty of overly sweet caramel and almost candy sugar notes, and some ETOH in the background. It doesn’t smell bad, but it does smell like it could be a terribly sweet mess. Flavor was still sweet, but thankfully the hops came through for me. Same aforementioned hop flavors--a good amount of orange and grapefruit and pine in the background. Alcohol was also let me know I was drinking a 9% ABV beer. Semi-dry with some alcohol warmth and bitterness peaking around a 4. Full body with moderate carbonation. A fair DIPA--what boosted it so high was the appearance.

22 oz. bottle - pours clear, bright amber; huge white head takes a bit to settle; creamy, sweet citrus hop aromas; almost lemons and grass combined; amazingly smooth texture with bitterness covered until the finish; lots of sugary smooth malts; very nice and quite a contrast against the Alesmith Summer; increasingly bitter and harsh as you get to the bottom of the bottle; on one hand and great beer and at the same time kind of an unusual IIPA

Pours nice hazy orange, with decent head. A fruitier aroma than anticipated, but still laced with a piney hop quality. Very easy on the palate, and the expected bittering hop slam is replaced by a gentle grassy wave, which is both refreshing and tasty. A restrained version of the style, but one which offers balance and drinkability. Very nice
