raphael (259), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 13, 2008 Basic hop biterness with a squarish caramel/cardboard scent undrneath, grapefruit appearing. Cloud light amber with minimal head (from bottle), flat tasting, with a little ho edge to it. The flavor is poorly balanced, heavy on the grapefruit rind & thin. Warming finish

ABUSEDGOAT (1904), California, USA Sep 5, 2008 Amber color, moderate to large head with excellent lacing and retention. Seriously, the lacing has possessed the glass. Aroma is a citric bomb, I’m guessing Columbus hops. Medium bodied, moderate bitterness, quite drinkable. Decent, but I’ll take a Racer 5 now. Snojerk321 (959), San Diego, California, USA Sep 4, 2008 22oz bottle from BevMo Mission Valley. Pours a medium orange amber with a nice frothy off white head. Nose was bursting with citrus fruits and pine. A subtle malt backbone gave way to more hoppy madness. A very underrated beer. Schultsc (407), Henderson, Nevada, USA Sep 2, 2008 Medium orange-amber with a thick, puffy, off-white head. Full aroma of dark citrus and resiny hops along with sweet malt and alcohol. Flavor is full of dense bitterness, caramelized citrus peel malt. Big, clunky body with a huge malt presence and alcohol in a warm finish. Not berfectly balanced but not necessarily out of balance. Somewhat one-dimensional double IPA. dwyerpg (2065), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Aug 28, 2008 An absolutely wonderful floral aroma. This is really nice. Relatively smooth considering the abundance of hops throughout. Not overly bitter. Excellent. JMFG (1140), Florida, USA Aug 27, 2008 Bottle. Light amber color, thin white layer of head. Grassy hops, biscuity malts underneath, a hint of cardboard. Hops had an old musky astringency and doesn’t mix well over the malts. Kind of murky.
