Pours orange with a fluffy lasting white head. Smell is mild fruity orange and tea like earthiness. Taste is very balanced with a nice malt presence with slightly strong orange fruity bitter hoppiness. Moderate hoppiness and spot on for a pale ale. Medium to full body with crisp carbonation. Solid, enjoyable pale ale. rustychiles (1068), Mesa, Arizona, USA

Malty flavour, with a hop spine and edge. Thin mouth. Hop in the finish, but not a lot. This smells like a Cape ale and tastes like a pale. cbkschubert (2027), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 28, 2008 22 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a hazy golden color with a one finger thick off white head. Light lacing. Aroma is big citrus and pine hops with some underlying toasted malt hiding in there. The flavor has a bit more malt to it, but the hops still lead the way. This is one of those beers that will balance out with a bit of time. Medium body. A decent APA. Beardface (1036), Eugene, Oregon, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 20, 2008 Too sweet by half, fruity, malty and overpoweringly scented. Smell clings and permeates the taste. It does look purty though! boFNjackson (1323), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Oct 19, 2008 Bomber bottle... Poured orange with a think white head, nice lacing. Beautiful, floral hops on the nose with a little spicy residue. Great drinkability and a satisfying hop bitterness for a mere pale ale. Other flavors of citrus and other fruits and a mild candy like sweetness probably from malt. trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA

Because I got it in a restaurant, it was colder than I would normally drink it. First taste was a nice light sweentness, floral notes and a good kick of hops. Continues with toasty malt, citrusy zest, and spice. Nice crisp bitterness at the finish.
