Commercial Description:
A hop lover's delight, this American India Pale Ale is brewed with over 1.5 lbs. of hops per barrel. As with all IPAs, this beer is higher in alcohol, hop aroma and bitterness than regular pale ales, and you don't have to sail to India to enjoy it.

On tap at brewpub. This is the definition of a solid American IPA. Great color, taste, and smell. Big hops bring out a nice drinkable bitter finish.

From a growler . Pours a deep copper color with a 1/2" off white head. Nose was very hoppy as you would expect. Huge hop flavor with a good, strong malty backbone. Strong, bitter finish.

Tap at fenway. Decent IPA. Pours a medium copper with a thin lasting head and some streaky spotty lace. Aroma is nice- modest use of hops- citrus, light orange zest, some hints of pine. Light crisp clean pale malts, zesty clean hops - citrus and light resin, with a good clean bitter finish.

On tap: This was a well made IPA that had nice balance and a dry/bitterness especially in the finish. That said, it was quite similar to many other IPA’s as there was little memorable with it.

From the Fenway location - Poured a golden amber in color with a small white head that faded to a rim around the glass. Aroma was fairly strong of citrus and pine hops. Flavor was nice and hoppy with a medium bitterness. Some malty sweetness on the finish. Clean, drinkable... I liked it!

Pretty average IPA with decent lacing and hoppiness. There are better offerings at Beer Works to try.
