Commercial Description:
A hop lover's delight, this American India Pale Ale is brewed with over 1.5 lbs. of hops per barrel. As with all IPAs, this beer is higher in alcohol, hop aroma and bitterness than regular pale ales, and you don't have to sail to India to enjoy it.

Cask - Hazy orangish body with a wonderful creamy white head. Nice grapefruity aroma and well blended hoppy taste. Soft carbonation. Tap - Head was smaller and not as creamy. The body was the same color, but less hazy then on cask. Similar aroma to the cask conditioned. The taste and carbonation was more sharp. The hoppy taste was more immediate. Overall I enjoyed the cask conditioned version better, but both tasted great.

seemed too light in color from the keg this ale is nicely hopped and complex and in competition with it’s own quality malt flavor. a hop and barley mash fragrance it has a sour off flavor weaving in and out only making it more interesting and genuine. solid yet not overpowering with a craftsmans mix of grapefruit and infused pine flavors. good finish clean and not abrupt with well matched alcohol. i like brews like this that are wholly satisfying but yet quite drinkable. i say, a bit of a treat!

On tap at the Brew Pub Boston Dec 05. Easily my favourite of the ones that I tried. Amber coloured nice crispness and bitterness though some sweetness balances things out well, hops come through very well suprised at the strength. Very good beer.

Sharp and biting hop presence with nice fruit bitterness. Underlying sweetness as well. Nice brew.

A weak but very pleasant hops aroma. Golden red amber with nice white lacing head. Medium body and carb. Really nice bitterness. Awesome hops and weak malt flavor. Bitter finish and after. Very refreshing. Once I tried this, I stuck with it for the rest of the evening. A really nice IPA.

Cask conditioned : Copper pour, with a small but creamy white head, leaving lace all the way down. Pretty much all hops in this brew - Hops on the nose, hops on the tongue, and hop bitterness sticking around afterwards. Not much malt to be found through all the hops...but that isn't a bad thing in my eyes.
