Crystal clear copper body with beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, light cinnamon. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, light nutty, cherry, chocolate. Watery light-medium body. Seems like an amber.

Tap@Beer Works, Boston, Ma. Strange one. Toasty, with berry fruit, chocolate and ash, citric hops, kind of odd for an ESB, but the flavouors worked somehow, don’t ask me me how, but they somehow molded together.

Clear amber color with a thin offwhite head. Mild aroma of hops, malt and caramel. Flavor of hops, smoked malt (strange for an ESB) and caramel with a bitter finish.Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation.

(Canal St. Location) Aroma very much about NUTS and toffee and apples. Reminds me about Christmas pies, cakes, and desserts. Sweet and juicy. Nice tan-white head. Slightly watery, but earnestly enjoyable. More than I expected for an ESB style from a microbrewery.

tap @ canal. hoppy notes are more potent in the aroma than the flavor.

Nice dark color. I felt it had a very hoppy taste with a bitterness to it.

I had the Bay State ESB, im not 100% sure this is the same thing. Dark copper color with good lace. Aroma is a nice but weak blend of hops and fruity malts. Finishes fairly bitter, like most of theirs its ok, but boring.
