Crystal clear copper body with beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, light cinnamon. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, light nutty, cherry, chocolate. Watery light-medium body. Seems like an amber.

Cask Stillage at the GBBF, Earl’s Court 07/08/2009 Fruity hop aroma. Mid brown coloured hazy in appearance and fruity with a crisp bitter and slightly dry malt finish. Following Brewdog Tokyo was always going to be a tough act for any beer but this was a nice one to round off 4 excellent days of drinking at the 2009 GBBF.

(Draught) Pours a clear deep amber body with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of caramel, nuts, light fruitiness, and toasted grain. Flavor of pine hoppiness, caramel, and nuts with a dry finish.

Tap@Beer Works, Boston, Ma. Strange one. Toasty, with berry fruit, chocolate and ash, citric hops, kind of odd for an ESB, but the flavouors worked somehow, don’t ask me me how, but they somehow molded together.

Draft, Logan Airport. Copper to bronze in color. Smaller off-white head. Toasted malt and hint of spice in the aroma. Toasted malt and light cocoa flavors. Dry and uneventful finish. Some caramel and a bit of floor malt that suggest some english roots. Still, really just an amber in ESB disguise.

Cask at GBBF. Cloudy amber with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, malt and a yeasty note. Dry malty flavour with good hop character and a bitter finish.

A deep clear orangey brown ale with a thin lacing off white head. Faint malt and light British hops. In mouth, a nice bitter beer with British hops, sustained, a bit too astringent, again, maybe due to lack of malt. On tap at Fenway brewpub, Oct. 12 2008.

Cask at GBBF 09 ....murky brown ... big fruity hop ... little yeast nose ... bitter back bone ... juicy grapefruit ... dry orange.
