Fruity hop aroma. Mid brown coloured hazy in appearance and fruity with a crisp bitter and slightly dry malt finish.
Following Brewdog Tokyo was always going to be a tough act for any beer but this was a nice one to round off 4 excellent days of drinking at the 2009 GBBF. bu11zeye (5675), Frisco, Texas, USA

Toasty, with berry fruit, chocolate and ash, citric hops, kind of odd for an ESB, but the flavouors worked somehow, don’t ask me me how, but they somehow molded together. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 3, 2009 Draft, Logan Airport. Copper to bronze in color. Smaller off-white head. Toasted malt and hint of spice in the aroma. Toasted malt and light cocoa flavors. Dry and uneventful finish. Some caramel and a bit of floor malt that suggest some english roots. Still, really just an amber in ESB disguise. ChristianScheffel (4689), Odense, Denmark

Faint malt and light British hops. In mouth, a nice bitter beer with British hops, sustained, a bit too astringent, again, maybe due to lack of malt. On tap at Fenway brewpub, Oct. 12 2008. cgarvieuk (4225), Edinburgh, Scotland
