Delicious beer. Awesome balance, and high flavor. This seemed to be something just put on offer, as it was on one of the rotating wipe-off placards. Unsure of its full history of why its a "cellar reserve". Excellent with a solid dinner I imagine. Silky palate, some hops tangible to give you meaning to your night, a good batch here.

Thought this was a bit pasty and hard to go down. Good dark color, but whatever taste that’s attempted to be added here kind of torpedoes the beer. A disappointment from Boston Beer Works.

On tap at Fenway. Reddish-copper color. Slightly toasted malt aroma. Bread malts here, interesting fruit notes, low levels of cardboard in the aftertaste. A fairly well-balanced, easy-going amber.

On tap at the Salem Beer Works. Nice reddish color with a nice malty flavor, but it was very watery which kind of ruined this beer for me. Kinda crappy since it was my 500th. Oh well.

The Boston Red had quite the dark reddish color with a taste that was wicked hoppy.

on tap near fleetcenter. Didn’t find anything to dislike about this one, but didn’t think it was anything special either. agree with poster below that it was a bit of a disappointment, and certainly not as good as some of the other beers available.

Pours deep amber with a small fluffy white head. Taste is light hops. Comparable to Killians with more hops. Average.

Copper in color with a small off-white lacing around the rim. Earthy spicy hop aroma. Flavor so earthy/spciy hops, toasted malt finishing dry.
