Had this one on draught at the brewpub on Canal Street, Boston, Massachusetts. Oily dark brown pour with a decent sized tan head, plenty of bitter chocolate and coffee in the nose, roasted caramel and peanuts, cherries and plums throughout. Sweet and buttery finish. This is an excellent sweet stout.

poured an opaque black. large white head. Definite taste of french roasted coffee. Not that complex in flavor, but went down very smoothly.

Had this beer on tap at Logan. Dark in color with a medium-large beige head. Beautiful lace. Aroma of dark malts and a little sweetness. Flavor was much more balanced than I expected from a sweet stout - malty, yes, but slightly sweet as well. Very good beer.

On tap at the Fenway location. Dark brown with a nice tan head. Best head retention of any of the Beer Works beers I had. Aroma has a little chocolate, roasted malts. Flavor is similar to aroma. Slightly creamy and smooth mouthfeel and finish.
