Commercial Description:
Our version of a traditional (or "ordinary") English Bitter. Brewed with English malts and dry hopped with English hops this, the ESB's little brother, beer is a fine balance of subtle maltiness and pleasant hoppiness.

Tap at Canal Street Location: Golden pour with a dense creamy lacing white head. The aroma is mainly ale yeast character with some fruity esters. Buttery malt flavor upfront, mild floral character, with a light lemony bitterness in the finish. Straight forward.

Tap @ Salem. Billed as a Pale Ale. Pours an opaque yellow gold with a light head. Nose is light, slight hop notes. Brew is incredibly creamy for a brew with limited body. Soft throughout, there wasn’t much else going on in this one besides the persistant mouthfeel.

Golden colour, poured from a sparkler on a nitro push. Creamy white head. Aroma is mildly hoppy, with Fuggles and Goldings being the most prominent hops here over a soft UK type base. Lightly sulphurous which adds authenticity to this brew. Flavour is quite well-balanced, fruity yeastiness (strawberry/cherry) set against the soft spicy Goldings. Soft textured brew. Moderate bitterness, but the crispness and mineral character set it off quite nicely. Lovely pint and a great session beer.

Medium golden in color, with a thick and creamy white head that lasted to the end. Light aroma is mostly malty & sweet. Flavor is sweet, malty, with a subtle hoppiness in the end. Some creaminess from the nitro tap, but it also feels thin and watery at the same time.
