This beer was FANTASTIC. Ordered a pint because I wanted something "light" and not "palate killing"- was more than pleased with my selection! A little nervous at first about the blueberries FLOATING in my beer, but it turned out that they were a great addition. Looking around the bar proved that almost everyone else had ordered the same beer....would highly recommend to go straight to the 22oz!

Gotta love blueberries to love this one. From the Fenway location. Light bodied (golden straw) that darkened from the plump whole blueberries which floated in the pint. Medium-sized head of white and blue (obviously). Great golden ale balanced just right with blueberries at the bottom as a desert.

Had this one on draught at the brewpub on Canal Street, Boston, Massachusetts. Light reddish pour with a thick, white head, bubbly, and served with juicy blueberries which floated on the top. Sweet and bready nose, obvious berries and apples, but acutally quite light and nuanced especially for a fruit beer. Milky finish. Pretty decent job.

From notes 3/2007. Pours a clear gold with a slight brown tint. Nose is very strong with a smooth blueberry influence. Flavor is slightly bitter with an edge of the blueberries. The berries seem to hit you more at the end. Feel has a good level of carbonation and an above average liquid feel. Very drinkable. The bitter edge detracts from the overall drinkability, but the smooth and very natural blueberry flavor really make this a great blueberry ale. I am always on my neverending quest to find the greatest blueberry beer and this one is definitely up there.

Pours a yellowish/amber color with a lacy white head. Aroma is faintly blueberry, with a bit of hop and/or malt thrown in. However, the taste leaves much to be desired. It’s practically non-existent and detracts from what could have been a great experience. As it is, just OK.

on draft at the fenway park location. served with fresh blueberries that float gracefully from the top to the bottom and back up again. the blueberries leave a purplish pink trail in the fluffy white head. A light gold color. I thought the blueberry flavor was quite nice, and had an appropriate hopping and malt body. A refreshing beer that is very interesting to look at.
