Pours hazy brown but still light enough to look through, looks a bit strange and far from inviting. Off white head. The beer has floating blueberries. Aroma is heavily dominated by blueberries. Flavour is rather watery with only a vague note of blueberries. Mid between sweet and dry. Finish is watery. Dogbrick (2907), Columbus, Ohio, USA

This beer is served with a fairly substantial amount of fresh blueberries in it. The effect is similar to a lava lamp as they ride the bubbles to the top and sink down again. The beer itself is a pale golden color with a minimal white head and very little lacing. Blueberry aroma. Light body with a tart blueberry flavor along with a bit of wheat. The finish is fruity and sweet. Not a great beer by any stretch, but fun to watch. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 3, 2007 Hazed amberish gold, thin white fizzy head. Nose held notes of florals, blueberry, lemony perfume, and a touch of earthy wheat. Berry sweetness is lightly balanced by the light lemony citirc flavor throughout. Nice touch with the floating blueberries in my glass. Light bodied, light carbonation, fruity finish. Time and place for everything...and this beer is just fine for a hot summer day... | 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | May 19, 2007 I had this beer two years ago and I loved it, this time...different story. Maybe I got the "bottom of the barrell" or something. The berries that they put in the beer were frozen and the beer was flat. I will try again someday. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 23, 2007 On tap at the Salem location. Served with real Blueberries. Pours a translucent almost clear with just hints of pinkish/blue. The Blueberries danced from the bottom to the top of the glass with the carbonation bubbles. Kind of looked cool. Aroma was all blueberry pie. Flavor of blueberries and cherries. I liked the touch of serving it with fresh berries. Not a great beer though. BitchesBrew (710), Berkeley, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 24, 2006 [Draft @ fenway location] Light straw color, with a short white head. Aroma smells a bit like blueberries, but not too strong. Flavors are pretty weak, grainy sweetness, loads of carbonation and some old, slightly dried (NOT fresh) blueberries floating in the glass. I felt like a baleen whale trying to screen them out of my teeth. An interesting beer, but I wonder if it has any blueberry character without the berries? GeneralGao (3072), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 8, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden color with thin white head that dissipated quickly. this one was served with a dollop of blueberries. This beer was as fun to watch as it was tasty. The blueberries bobbed up and down as I drank. Distinct blueberry aroma and flavor with a ceral grain maltiness in the background.
