Served with loose fresh blueberries mixed into the pour. Scents of blueberries predominate. Light and crisp, refreshing blueberry ale. Would be wonderful on a hot, sumer day. Especially tasty when you get a few of the blueberries in the mouthful. Fin (3457), Merton, Oxfordshire, England

Very light pale gold colour with blueberries bobbing around in it. This was ok, but probably my least favourite of the one’s I tried here. Loz like it and so did her mum, tasted a bit like a standard pale lager with maybe a hint of citric fruit in there. jcwattsrugger (5563), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 25, 2006 Saw a bunch of people having this on my visit. Pours out a straw color with a small head. Interesting garnish of real Maine (or so they say) Blueberries. Blueberry aroma with some sweet malts. Very cool looking to see the blueberries floating up and down on the bubbles, that alone gives it a 5 for appearance. Other than that I’m glad I got to try this beer, but it definitely isn’t something that I could drink all night. The bartender recommended this beer and I am glad he did. The appearance is what stands out as there is a spoonful of blueberries floating around, which gives it a distinct purplish glow. Good microbrew ale that was smooth and not over powering with the blueberry taste. I ended up going back later on that night to grab two more pints before they closed.
