I really do not like blueberry beers, but I got this on the suggestion of the bartender. I was surprised. Real blueberrys floating in the glass! Excellent touch. Even with the blueberries floating around, i could still taste a nice, almost lemonny, beer underneath it. It was not cloyingly sweet, as I might have expected. I also liked chewing the berries from the bottom of the glass, tasty dessert!

Tap@Beer Works, Boston, Ma. There actually blueberrys in the beer! Ha. Anyway, this is a pretty average beer. Tastes like lager with blueberrys. The good thing is that its not too sweet.

(draft) This might have been sweet and syupy or it might have been all the blueberries floating up and down. I couldn’t finish the glass. Those things hitting my lips were just too strange.

Had at the Beer Works by Haymarket. Smells like candy! Faint blueberry taste that wasn’t too overpowering. The blueberries floating in the beer tasted rubbery.

Only thing that was interesting was the aroma, it reminded me of fresh blueberry muffins. Everything else was like any other uninteresting lager. On the other hand my wife liked it.

Served with blueberry juice and blueberries, this is very good as far as blueberry ales go.

Looks okay in a glass... blue-purple-red-orange in glass. Creamy frothy head, that sucks up the purple of the beer here and there. Bad fidelity in the appearance of this beer. Not that wheaty, to its demerit, and kind of poppy and carbonated. Served with blueberries, a nice touch, but still weird. Good for girls, or at least seems appealing to them . Upped a bit in overall points for its local legendary status at Boston University amongst the students there.
