Cask conditioning provides a short-lived, dense head. Malty aroma. Flavors bready malts, some subtle fruitiness and a nice hop finish. A pretty good beer, overall. I drank at the brewpub near the Fleet Center and this beer SUCKED. Obviously others have had different experiences. bu11zeye (5621), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Oct 27, 2003 Absolutely fabulous. This beer comes with a head that's as creamy as a Boddington's. Nitro? The body is slightly bitter with a lingering aftertaste that's so good, it almost makes you forget the overpriced food you're eating. Full-flavored with appropriate malt body for its style. GABF winner.
