gws57 (995), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Oct 19, 2007 Had this one on draught at the brewpub on Canal Street, Boston, Massachusetts. Dark red pour with a lacy, white head; toasted almond and chocolate malts in the nose, slightly spicey especially into the body, which has a little allspice, grape and apple fruitiness, with some sweet milk chocolate. Nice, smooth finish. Very nice.
