waolsen (1220), Littleton, Colorado, USA Sep 25, 2009 tap. machiano cherry red with off white/red head. wheat and sweet cherry cobbler aroma. tart cherry pie, fleeting flavor turns into a terrible artificial cherry finish. thin body. weak. OldGrowth (1407), North Carolina, USA Jun 8, 2005 Pint @ Fenway location. Ok nose, Lite cherry, waxy. Like a cherry scented candle. Clean purply red color. Dry tart cherry flavor, little red wine. Thinner body, lite smooth mouthfeel, bitter dry finish, Tasty, interesting , not a style I’m generally into. GirlyBeer (183), Biddeford, Maine, USA May 29, 2005 Updated: Jul 20, 2008This is a real lambic. It’s sour and fruity. Definitely something to be sipped. Very refreshing. Thin head. Bright red appearance. This is not sweet like a Lindemans or other popular lambics. KariCupcake (214), Lenox, Massachusetts, USA May 28, 2005 Had this at the Beer Works by Haymarket. Pretty color (it would make an excellent hair color!). Smells fruity and buttery. Very sour. Makes your mouth juices get all active. ericnixon (719), Northampton, Massachusetts, USA May 28, 2005 On tap at the Boston Beer Works by the BankNorth Garden. Red like wine. Smells like cranberry juice. Very tart (oh so tart). This really doesn’t resemble cherries at all. It’s more like cheap wine or sangria in a glass, not a "cherry" beer.
