On tap at salem beer works, pours dark with a small head but good head retention. Roasted malts are very apparent in the aroma. Coffee taste disagreed with me. Stegosaurus nails this one perfect. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 12, 2004 At Canal St. Location. During sampling, GeniusGirl sez: "Ruby color, espresso!" and she’s right. That’s about the only thing you see in the beer. Espresso taste. Very smooth. It’s really the raw espresso taste you get here, but its still smooth! Good lacing, coats the side of glass. A slight off-note with the flavor, unsure of what to make of that.
