Commercial Description:
"In fermento veritas." Bière aux 10 épices (10 spices) BeerMania is not a brewery, the "Mea Culpa" (or Mea Maxima Culpa, the same in 75cl bottle - there is even Ultima Culpa, but that's an incredibly large artsy glass) is brewed upon Nassers' own recipe at a Belgian brewery. He declines sofar to tell which, untill he has all contracts signed and papers worked out...

2008-12-20. Lightly hazy golden yellow body with a good sized fluffy white head. (3+) Mild bready yeast aroma, sweet pale malt, touch of honey? (7+) Flavour is similar sweet pale malt, bready undertones and a light triple like alcohol in the finish, and a floral/honey touch. Smooth medium bodied palate. Very solid drinkable blond. Bottle from Beer Mania, Brussels

Bottled. A hazy yellow beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of Belgian yeast and spices - especially coriander. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of fruit - peaches being strongest. The body is thin.

Bottle courtesy of and shared with Jerc and Mabel. Nice hazy blonde, big fluffy white head, ice cream cone like, lots of streaming bubbles - looks great. Slightly spicy, yeasty aroma - soft and pleasant. Great taste - lots of spice and yeast, soft tingly body. alcohol present and complimentary, balances everything together quite well. Very drinkable. Solid blonde Belgian ale.

Bottled, picked up at BeerMania. After about 3/4 of this shot out of the bottle onto my kitchen floor, it poured quite nicely into my snifter.. pale-to-medium golden with a creamy, sticky cap of white head. The aroma was spicy and ever-so-engaging with spicy cloves, dried banana skins, and lemon rind over a pale base.. I really enjoyed it. The flavor was spicy and strong with cloves, lemon zest, and vinegary funk driving it.. pale and drier base with a little lemon meat.. finished strong as well with zesty, sour light fruit skins and more spicage. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation on the palate.. spices were dominant, but worked well together.. wish I got to drink the rest of it.

Courtesy of Fonefan. It’s golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma is perfumed with notes of coriander, fruit and yeast. The flavour has sweetness and notes of coriander, fruit, yeast, malt, and like the aroma it’s perfumed.
