Commercial Description:
"In fermento veritas." Bičre aux 10 épices (10 spices) BeerMania is not a brewery, the "Mea Culpa" (or Mea Maxima Culpa, the same in 75cl bottle - there is even Ultima Culpa, but that's an incredibly large artsy glass) is brewed upon Nassers' own recipe at a Belgian brewery. He declines sofar to tell which, untill he has all contracts signed and papers worked out...

Thanks to my wife from bringing this back from Belgium! Pours a hazy yellow color with a large white rocky head. Turns into a nice coating with good lacing. Nose is apples, pear, cinnamon, and some funkyness, but it’s well balanced. Flavor is apple and pear along with sweet grains and some vanilla. Creamy and flavorful mouthfeel. Very nice beer.

Bottle: Pours a hazy light golden with a creamy white head. Pear skin aroma with some apple sauce and very mild cinnamon. Fluffy feel with a fruity flavor of fruit skins (pears and apples) with a subtle white pepper touch. Simple but solid and easy going.

If you didnt know better you would swear its a bottle of champagne. Fresh grains are sweet but other than that the beer is pretty uninteresting. vanilla.

Bottle, bought @ Beermania. Thanks to Rikke for bringing this home to me.
Pours muddy yellow with a giant, frothy, white head. Aroma has lots of oranges, good yeast, sweet caramel and light funkiness. Medium smooth carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is a little limited, quite dry, lightly tart, good woody character. Light yeasty and funky finish with good hoppy dryness. Nice!

Bottle from the beer and chocolate shop next to Biere Temple in Brussels. Aromas of pale stone fruit, citrus and yeast. Poured 1 inch beer and 6 inches tan head. Probably my bad. Orange tinged gold color. Medium body with very smooth carbonation. It starts with sweet fresh fruit, a little caramel perhaps, and then some woody bitter slips in to cut the sugar. Ends lightly bitter and fruity/yeasty. Heck of a good beer.

Huge frothy head...fresh hay aroma, with lots of coriander. Nice clear pour, very effervescent, but when it calms down there is just too much stillness and a good bit of residual cotton candy sweetness. Any other flavor would be welcome besides a soft (softer than the aroma) coriander and sugar presence (OK... a late slight bitterness develops which is good). Drinkable, and I like that the ABV is relatively low.

Thanks for the bottle, Eugene - I really appreciate your generousity!

330ml bottle from Bier Mania, Brussels. Golden coloured with a moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of coriander, yeast and grassy hops. Flavour of sweet malt, yeast, spice and honey, with a short dry finish. Good.
