Light hazy yellow/golden coloured, medium sized white head that went away fast. Very sparkling (like champagne). Strong peppery spicy coriander aroma with notes of yeast and fruits (apple and lemon). Touch of alcohol in the spicy finish. Odd but nice brew. Papsoe (15084), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Very bright pale Belgian malt aroma, peppery spice and some light zesty lemony character. Soft mintiness as well that creates a very inviting quality. Flavour is excellent, bright combination of lemon and mint with a soft earthy yeast quality as well. The beer itself is bone-dry but there are lots of lovely fruity and citrusy flavours that give a sweet impression. Even a hint of ginger on the back. Very balanced. I wasn’t really expecting much from this contract brew, but I was pleasantly surprised. Wim (1321), Turnhout, Belgium

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 11, 2007 Cloudy straw yellow pour topped by a large belgianesque head that lasts and laces into fun shapes. Pleasant, rather firm pilsner malts bend under the surprisingly impressive floral, saazy hoppiness touched by zesty lemon tones. Bready yeast profile paired with hops does not quite tame the sweetness and the volcanic carbonation seems a bit agressive at times, but the ending result remains a pleasant one and the beer a success.
