Beermanns Bourbon Barrel Aged Industrial Stout

Bottle shared by aspidites, pours almost black with a thin dark tan head. The nose is roasted malts, chocolate, a bit of coffee, some borbon, and unfortunately, cardboard. The flavor too is somewhat oxidized and lacking in the other flavors. They’re still there, just not as prominent as in the nose. Creamy on the palate amd dry and oak like in the finish.

Draft at WCBF 2008. Toasted malt aroma. Black color with a good tan head. Flavor is chocolate with toasted malt and touches of oak and bourbon. Very smooth.
