Oct 3, 2005 Some unusual flavors on nose and mouth for an ipa, a touch of diesel or rubber, tar, and eucalyptus. Mouth has all of the above with a touch of smoke, pineapple, and nuttyness. Tasted at room temperature, when the bottle was opened it immediately overflowed though the beer had not been shaken. I really liked this one, was off the beaten path for an ipa.

Sep 25, 2005 (22oz bottle, identified as India Pale Ale, with same ABV and same description on the side) Big and fluffy off-white head atop a lightly hazed amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, herbal, grapefruit, spice, floral. Taste is medium sweet, herbal, pine, grapefruit, floral, mint. Watery light-medium body. Big flavor that needs a bigger body to contain it, though still quite good.

Jul 14, 2005 Smells beautiful, like a light IPA. The head is extremely hoppy. In fact the whole beer is so extremely hoppy it makes me think of Stones Ruination IPA. However, that is more than okay in my book, since I love IPAs. This one is truly excellent.

Jul 5, 2005 Light copper color with a medium tan head. Aroma has some light malt notes with a "commercial" hops scent. Very light on flavor--plenty of bitterness but little hops flavor. A little malt and yeast flavor which are a bit off. Thin, edgy, and out of balance.

May 5, 2005 A hazy orange beer with a small disappearing head. The aroma is very hoppy and the flavor is hoppy and flowery with a dry end.

Nov 4, 2004 Updated: Mar 11, 2005Mmmm...Hops. Just like it is described; Nice malt charactor with a very balanced bitterness and floral aroma. This is a fantastic IPA!.....That was my original rating; this is new. On Draft @ the brewpub. Yellow orange with a small white head. Aroma of malts. NIce biiternees in the taste as well as some pine and citrus. It tastes as though they boiled ALL the hops in this beer. No nose what-so-ever.

Aug 21, 2004 Tap @ Bistro 7th IPA Festival. A golden color with a laced white head. A curious mix of the caramel malts that is slightly toasted as well as the rich hops.

May 21, 2004 Light orange color. Medium white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and citrusy. A medium to full bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are very evident, grapefruity and piney. Still the balance holds up, a little over balanced to the hops, but not overly so. Very smooth taste. Hints of orange peel as well. A nice hoppy IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
