Commercial Description:
Hops, Hops, Hops! Our brewers ad a special blend of North American hops three different times during the brewing process. This full-flavored IPA offers a complex malt character balanced with sharp but smooth bitterness and a wonderful floral hop aroma.

Bottle. Huge fizzy off-white head that mostly lasted. Excellent lacing to be observed in glass. Hazy light amber colour. Nice mix of hoppy notes. Grapefruit, pine, sweet elderflower and other floral notes. Fruit, bubblegum, caramel and liquorish was also present. Medium bodied with a light dry texture and a fizzy carbonation. Flavour was moderated bitter with good balancing sweet malty notes. Maybe a bit oxidized, but apart from that a good beer. Bitter and lasting finish.

Hazy amber color; too much foam; nice lace. And indeed the aroma shows some overfermentation or infection, soap, above fruity hops. Good malty flavor, well structured, with a good American hopping. Too bad that the bottle suffered.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured an extremely large sized head of finely sized white colored bubbles that was long lasting and left behind a slightly hazy softly carbonated caramel brown colored body. The aroma was mildly hoppy and soapy. The mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mellow finish. The hoppy flavor contained strong soapy notes and was just off. This one just misses the mark. Yes the hops ar ein there, but the soapiness just ruins is. Not one that I would buy again.

Bottle. Large of-white frothy, fizzy head that mostly diminished, fair lacing, hazy, carbonated, and an orange, some copper and brown hue. Nose was hoppy, some maltiness, spicy notes, and some notes of oranges. Flavor was hoppy, hint of malt, spicy, and lightly tangy. Mouthfeel was slightly tingly. Medium body. Not a style that’s high on my favorites list, but this one was decent.

22 oz bottle: I’d had their "Expedition IPA" at the (now closed, I heard) brewpub in Lincoln. This is different, I believe ... I loved the brewpub, but if this is what’s left of the Beermann’s name, I’m sadly depressed. This is just plain bad. Skunky and musty and a wasted of my $2.99. Maybe I got an infected bottle, but that’s the brewery’s fault, too. Dark orange with an overly poofy head. Flavor was reminiscent of spoiled or over-ripened fruit. <<Re-rated Sep 07 when I found another bottle in Vegas ... slightly better than my previous rating. This isn’t an infected bottle this time, but still a bit too earthy and rindy for me with the hops having an unpleasant role in a poorly balanced beer.>>

Las Vegas, Nv, Lee Discount Liquors, 22 oz bomber. Medium orange pour, very murky with a frothy white head that leaves good lacing. Fresh hoppy aroma, hints of mint and a produce stand at a farmer’s market. Flavor is tangy and somewhat spicy. Requisite grapefruity west coast hoppiness is omnipresent with hints of cinnamon, mint and maple syrup. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy. Not bad at all.
